What is CITA?

The Center for Information Technology Accommodation is a technical demonstration and resource center assisting Federal agencies to achieve successful investments in IT architecture and public service applications. A critical success measure of public IT service investments today, is maximum utility by many Americans whose contributions to society reflect broad life-experience differences (disability, language, aging, location culture, income, etc.). When society's flexibility is insufficient to accommodate connection-making activities among all its members, the whole of society is adversely affected.

CITA shares the important goal of achieving "maximally accommodating" public information infrastructures with an informal, growing network of public and private sector partners.
