  cortex and have escaped into the molecular layer through a breach in the external glial limiting membrane, accompanied
  by mild disorganization of the subjacent cortical layers.

• Focal microgyri are more severe disturbances, the organization of all layers of the cortex being affected.

Several gene linked to dyslexia are playing a role in the cerebral cell migration.
