Abstract
We access internet for different purposes and have been beginning to present multimedia information individually. Information about welfare also has been presented, but there are many problems for disabled people to get information. Internationally, people are more interested in internet accessibility for disabled people and had an animated discussion at WebAccess '97 held in April 1997. In foreign countries, research institutions, companies, and municipal corporations develop technical aids that help severe disabled people WWW access. And information supplied on the guidelines and universal design. On the other hand, there is a little information about internet access of physically impaired people in Japan. They examine a few accessibilies on a general information system. We have to make guideline about accessibility including technical support for disable people.
