Abstract:
This paper describes investigation of home reconstruction assist system of each ward in Tokyo Metropolitan. It was accomplished in order to identify effective factors on the number of utilization of this system. A questionnaire form was sent to each ward. 14 terms were selected based on the questionnaire and some statistic materials. Then, multiple regression analysis with forced input method, of which these 14 terms were selected as independent valuables, were accomplished. The results showed that "the number of households including people above 65 years old" was the most effective term on the number of utilization of this system, and "the rate of older population" was the closest correlation to the number of utilization of it. According to the result, it was obvious that a way of thinking of younger population, who was living with older people, have effect on the number of utilization of it. The result of the correlation between each term indicated that "the number of houses of one's own", "population of older people" and "public welfare budget" had effect on it indirectly. The result didn't showed marked difference between Edogawa ward, which has large number of utilization of the home reconstruction assist system, and other wards.
