Abstract:
Provision system of assistive devices consists of direct and indirect elements. The direct element is an element necessary to perform assistive service for people with disabilities or people of advanced age, such as consultation, upbringing and preparation of specialists and assistants, clarification of role in the general assistive service, preparation and standardization of economic aid system, and development of assistive device industry. And the indirect element is defined as a fundamental scientific element or a fundamental administrative element necessary for the direct element, or a social assistive element as a result of assistive services, such as understanding for disability, refinement and repletion of methodology for problem solving, expansion of understanding in the general publicity, cooperation with the government policy, and allotment of role. Here, the definite task of assistive device prevailing project in Osaka toward such elements is reported.
