Abstract:
Here, an example of consultation of a patient with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, whose ADL has never been satisfied by herself, is introduced. And how the guidance for patients should be is discussed. In this case, the patient diseased when she was 6 years old, and she could do almost nothing to live without mother's help before training. Afterward, she trained in the rehabilitation center of Osaka, then trained rheumatic therapy in the hospital N, and finally in the assistive technology laboratory of Osaka. Now, she grew up to do many things of ADL. Through such an example, importance of publicity of rehabilitation center, general consultation service of assistive devices and remodeling of houses, and service system corresponding to each disease, are recognized.
