Abstract:
The purpose of the special interest group (SIG) of special education is to improve technology on special education and to expand technical information about special education , and to make a contribution to betterment of special education. Up to now, the group has 33 members. Main activities of this group are publishing of newspaper twice a year, reporting SIG members investigation, introducing of contents of over seas references, planing and holding of theme meeting and seminar. And from 1993 to 1994, we had 8 meetings. In 1996, in cooperation with communication SIG we reported about organization of Japanese special education SIG and utilization of communication aids on special education in Pacific Rim day at ISAAC.
