Abstract:
In this paper, Assistive devices developed by the authors are reported. They design and develop them in the fields of sports, travel, recreation, and art. They introduce four representative products. First, they introduce a child seat. Using it, a parent can carry the child with a disability on his or her back, while the child sits on it. Secondly, they show a special buggy. They remake the seat of the buggy by attaching four small wheels to it. And so, it can run, leaving the child to sit on it like a wheelchair. And they report that a child with cerebral palsy is using it now. They introduce another buggy as the third one. It has three wheels, allowing parents to use it on the road. Moreover, they are able to jog with it. Lastly, they mention another special buggy. It has skis and so can be used on the snow. The using experiment by the child with severe cerebral palsy and his parent is reported.
