Abstract:
A questionnaire about Environmental Control System (ECS) was administered to persons with cervical spinal code injuries. Users were 7% . This indicated that ECS didn't become popular. The most important device in appliances were electrical bed ,telephone and bell. And the most used device were electrical bed, telephone and TV. Present dissatisfaction of ECS were "can't use it on the wheel chair", "channels are lack" and etc.. On the other hand, persons who wish to use ECS were 60%. The most reason not to use it was "I know it , but I don't know how useful it is for me". Operation in trouble was "dealing with a visitor", "operation of telephone", "operation of electrical device" and so on. And it appeared that most of them hoped to have control of devices by using voice recognition system.
