Abstract:
An analysis system for upper limb motion, which can simultaneously measure angles corresponding to upper limb 7 freedoms without constraining complex motion, has been developed. The angle of elbow 1 freedom was measured using a Quick Mag system. On the other hand, the pronation-spination angle of 1 freedom of forearm was measured with a pronation-spination measuring system. And the angles corresponding to 3 freedoms of shoulder and 2 freedoms of hand were measured with a P & G goniometer. Thus, we could simultaneously measure all angles of 7 freedoms of upper limb using these systems. The propriety of the system was examined by comparing data obtained with a CT-SCAN system. And it is shown that the pronation-spination measuring system adapted to measure rotation angle of humerus and the forearm pronation and spination.
