Abstract:
Although stick-picture representation of body image obtained from VTR animation enables quantitative analysis, original animation has still additional information. However, to derive more information from the animation, movement patterns must be embedded into a static picture. Therefore, a pattern integration system and a multiple pattern composing system have been developed. In the former system, patterns were simply added. In this case, object become transparent when the number of patterns increases. On the other hand, in the latter system, object of each pattern is cut out and overlapped one by one. Therefore, the object is always opaque even if the number of patterns increases. However, in this case, formerly embedded object is often screened by the new object.
