Abstract:
It is difficult for the severe rheumatic and cervical cord injured patients to put out pill from sheet because of deformity and contracture of hands and fingers. He has made pill opener to improve patients self care and quality of life. The pill can be fixed easily with one finger on the opener. The pill is put out by pushing plate and fall into the cup through the hall. This opener is two-way for both circular and capsular type by preparing each fixation place and hole. A little dust box is prepared to storage put out pill sheet, and when it is filled up nurse or assistants can throw away. With this opener cervical cord injured patient (C6) can open a pill smoothly by himself without others help.
