Abstract:
She has remodeled self-help device to support cervical cord injured child learning at elementary school. Self-help device are as follow. 1)Magnet paperweight. The desk is tilted to keep the child in good setting position. A little knob is put for pinching between thumb and index finger to fix textbook and notebook on a tilted desk. 2)Box for stowing textbook. Box for stowing textbook is placed beside the desk. The string is set through a little hole and textbook can be took out by hitching his thumb to the string. It is removable with its caster. 3)Finger cover for playing a piano. A little knob is put on the root of finger cover to push keyboard with it. It is easy to put on by himself and he can play a piano with no difficulties. In this report, the cervical cord injured child is introduced briefly, and condition of utilizing these device is reported with her consideration.
