Abstract:
The remote controlled equipment in toilet might not be utilized effectively when its control switches ware set at wrong position. So it is needed to examine about setting position of remote controlled switches including another accessory's position in toilet. As douches and air dryers for attachment to a toilet is ranked upper in desired welfare equipment, they investigated desired setting position of its remote controlled switches through the subjective evaluation in several diseases and disabilities. Subjects are hemiplegia(left and right), and ataxia, Parkinson disease patients. These patients evaluated subjectively about desired setting position of its remote controlled switches on the acrylic board in a 35cm, 45cm, 55cm, 65cm distance from the center line of their body. They examined setting position compared with middle and advanced aged (41-69 years old) group's desired position.
