Abstract:
Among various testing machines witch developed in this research institute, testing machines for elbow crutches and walking sticks with three or more legs are introduced in this report. Both machines are improved through the actual measurements of angle and length of elbow crutches and walking sticks. Two measuring methods are proposed for the testing machines for elbow crutches, however, it is difficult to measure various desired angles which proposed on each methods with one machine. Then two testing machines are developed for each proposed measuring methods and various angles on each proposed methods can be measured. For the testing machine for walking sticks with three or more legs, rigidity of the machine and accuracy of angler measurement are required through the actual measurement by first prototype machine. Then after improvement of the prototype machine it becomes possible to measure with accuracy of 0.1 degree by improved testing machine.
