Study of Disabled Employment outcomes' in Vocational Training Program by Apprentice ship Approach in Hormozgan province rural area covered by CBR program

Objective:

This study has implications for employment of PWDs by apprentice ship method in hormozgan province rural areas covered by the CBR program. The most important factors that can be measured by the results of the program are three components of income, the need for social protection and duration of their employment. The study refers to the livelihood component of the CBR matrix.

Methods:

This study is a descriptive - analytical. And conducted by cross-sectional method. Statistical Society in this study is PWDs employment in rural areas of Hormozgan province covered by CBR program by Master – apprentice method. Inclusion criteria which all disabled people are 15 to 45 years. Sample is 150 people. And sampling was carried out by a total number. In this study, the research tool is information form made by researcher. It confirmed the content validity of the 10 people who were experts and was approved. After obtaining the necessary permits required data, obtained in two ways.1. Go to the CBR system software and comprehensive information on Welfare2. Completed by the questioner. Data were analyzed by the software SPSS, using descriptive and inferential statistical methods.

Results:

A).CONSTEXTUAL VRIABLES.

The highest percentage increases in employment of disabled persons are 25-21 and 30-26 years old (each 25 %). The lowest percentage increase in employment of disabled persons under 20 years old (9.1 percent). Most of PWDs has primary school greduate (28.7 %). And less frequent with higher education diplomas are (1.4 %). The highest percentage of workers with disabilities, are physical disabilities (3 / 50 %). And Mental disability has the lowest percentage (0.7%). The highest percentage of people under one year in duration (26.6 %) is employed. And the lowest percentage in the period of 4 years was working. The highest percentage of jobs (34.4 %) was related to sewing. And bakery and fishing (each with 0.7%) and lowest in those jobs are.

B).The relationship between income and constextual variable in PWDs employed:

Age, gender, marital status and disability have not impacted on disabled employment income in this method. High educated jobs that contribute to create more income for workers. Disabled people with higher qualifications, more skills to learn in the job that they are effective for increasing revenue.

C).The relationship between employment duration and background variables in PWDs employed:

Of the five variables in the research field of three variables (gender, marital status, age) affect on the duration of employment, and education and disability does not impact on the duration of employment.

D).The relationship between the need for social protection and constextual variable in PWDs employed:

The 5 constextual variables include gender, marital status, age, education, disability.

gender and marital status variables effect on the need for social support.

And other variables: (age, disability and education) not effect on the need to social support for them.

Conclusion:

Of the five variables in this study, gender, marital status, age, disability, and education, but education has a significant relationship to the employment of disabled persons with income. The five background variables of gender, marital status, age, education and disability, gender and marital status variables, they need social support has a significant relationship.

Also varies between 5 backgrounds, gender, marital status, age, duration of employment is a significant relationship. And education level and type of disability is not related to duration of employment. The most frequent forms of disabled workers are physical disability and mental disabilities have the lowest incidence of employment. The lack of jobs suitable and favorite for people with mental disabilities As well as the lack of Low frequency interest of employers is an important factor in the employment of the mental disabled.
