- Persons with disabilities missed out on distribution of humanitarian aid as:
- Distribution points were not accessible
- Information circulated on distribution points were not inclusive/accessible
- Transportation and roads or means to access the distribution points weren't accessible and available
- Mobility aid was destroyed or damaged in the cyclone
- Lack of disability-disaggregated data
- Information on warnings and other disaster related information and updates need to be inclusive of all persons with disabilities
