マーク･レイノ

セリア - 視覚障害者図書館 IT開発部長

マーク･レイノ氏は、1979年よりフィンランドのセリア視覚障害者図書館に勤務し、おもにITを担当してきた。レイノ氏が勤めるセリアでは、1995年に初めてDAISY図書を試作し、2003年に理事会が、DAISYを同図書館のデジタル図書システムとして採用することを決定した。そして同年、DAISYによる教科書の製作が開始され、現在ではすべての録音教科書が、DAISYフォーマットで製作されている。さらにセリアでは、学校用の点字図書、電子図書、その他の資料の製作も行っている。

Markku Leino

Head of IT and development, Celia - Library for the Visually Impaired

Markku Leino has been working in the Library for Visually Impaired since 1979.

Most of the time he has been in charge of IT.

His library first tested DAISY books in 1995, and in 2003 their Board of Directors decided that DAISY would be the digital book system for their library. Then they started producing DAISY textbook that year and now all their text talking books are in DAISY format.

His library also produces Braille books, e-books and other materials for schools.
