財団法人　日本障害者リハビリテーション協会

1964年、国内外における障害者のリハビリテーションに関する調査研究を行うとともに、国際的連携を強化し、障害者のリハビリテーション事業に寄与することを目的として設立された。事業内容は障害者のリハビリテーションに関する振興及び調査研究事業、出版物の発行、ウェブでの情報配信、アクセシブルなソフトの開発、リハビリテーションに関する国際協力、開発途上国からの研修生受け入れ、障害者団体等への協力などを行っている。同協会情報センターは日英高齢者・障害者ケア開発協力機構日本委員会の事務局を務めている。

Japanese Society for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities (JSRPD) was founded in 1964 to promote the activities of persons with disabilities in every way possible both within and outside Japan. Via international exchange, we strive to strengthen relationship devoted to the promotion of rehabilitation of persons with disabilities.

放送・通信バリアフリー委員会
Barrier Free Broadcasting Committee

障害者に関する優れた放送に対する表彰や、放送局に対する障害者番組制作のためのコンサルティング、字幕や手話の付与、副音声解説等を実現するため、放送局、企業、関係省庁との協力関係の構築を推進している。

The Committee gives awards for excellent TV programs and provides consultation to broadcasting stations in making programs concerning persons with disabilities, and promotes collaborations with broadcasting stations, enterprises, governmental agencies to realize broadcasting with closed captions, sign language, audio descriptions, etc.
