The digital disability certificate app "Mirairo ID" began to be accepted by 123 railway companies nationwide, including Japan Railway (JR), from March 13^th, 2021. By installing and registering their information, the user can use the "Mirairo ID" as a substitute for the disability certificate at cooperating companies. It also has electronic coupon and information provision functions. Since its release in July 2019, the range of cooperating companies has been expanded. As of the end of February 2021, it could be used in 885 places including public transportation, cinemas and theaters, and convenience stores. Since JR joined the scheme on March 13^th, 2021, the service has become available in most railway companies throughout Japan.
