Abstract
We made supplementary experiment on the possibility to control mu-rhythm amplitude in EEG with bio-feedback. It is said to be able to use them as a communication aid for PMD and ALS patients. Then we investigated on processing procedure of mu-rhythm for a brain computer interface. In this study, we extracted specific frequency components in mu-rhythm by through a digital band-pass filter and fed back to the subjects visually. And the subjects' learning effects and differences among their mu-rhythm amplitude were analyzed. The result was that only one of 3 subjects could control after bio-feedback training. We also examined the differences of mu-rhythm amplitude when various frequency components were fed back or positions of electrodes were changed. But we found that there were no remarkable differences.
