On 31 August 2021, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) announced the recipients of the Minister’s Award for Outstanding Offices for the Employment of Persons with Disabilities for FY2021. This award is given every year to coincide with the Employment Support Month for Persons with Disabilities in September to motivate persons with disabilities to achieve vocational independence and further deepen the interest and understanding of the public, especially employers, in employing persons with disabilities.
Also selected were the winners of the Minister’s Award in the Picture and Photo Contest for the Month of Employment Support for Persons with Disabilities. The Japan Organization for Employment of the Elderly, Persons with Disabilities and Job Seekers (JEED) has conducted the Contest as part of the awareness-raising activities for the Month of Employment Support for Persons with Disabilities.
