What can be done to reduce the risk of exclusion?

• Design of the Digital TV user interface for accessibility needs more research.
• Need to understand and investigate the needs of the total population of users (& those at risk of exclusion i.e. Elderly & disabled).
• An added benefit is that digital TV may be an ideal and ubiquitous technology to enable elderly and disabled to access information and services from home.
