ＲＩのビーナス・イラガン事務局長からのメールが届きましたので紹介いたします。日本障害者リハビリテーション協会は、ＲＩ（リハビリテーション・インターナショナル）の日本窓口をしていますので、ニュース・レターや事務連絡が届きます。個人あての連絡ではありませんので、情報提供させていただきます。

内容は、次の通りです。

  • ３月に開催される国連女性の地位に関する第５７回委員会で行うＲＩのサイドイベントのチラシを添付します。
  • その他、国連および国連の機関に対するＲＩの働きかけの最新情報も添付します。
  • 今週初めに、第５１回社会開発委員会においてビーナスが行った国連の「南南ニュース」に対するインタビューのビデオクリップをRIのウェブサイトにアップしたので見てください

添付ファイルとして、１.サイドイベントのチラシ、２．ＷＨＯ理事会が障害者の健康のための決議案を提出したことに関する情報、３．第５１回国連社会開発委員会への障害に関する特別報告についての情報

Greetings from the Secretariat of Rehabilitation International in New York. Please find attached, the flyer for RI's side event at the 57th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women next month and other updates on RI's work with the UN and its agencies which may be of interest to you. If you have the time, you may also visit the RI website for a video clip on my interview with the United Nation's South-South news at the 51st session of the Commission on Social Development (CSD) meeting early this week.
