School Textbooks in DAISY Multimedia Formats

• Start providing school textbooks to children with reading problems at the level of Primary and Junior High school by the change of copyright law in Sept 2008.
• Obtain electronic data from the publishing companies from 2009
• On a Volunteer basis
• The number of users (as of Feb,2012):1,000 students
• Users: LD, ADHD, autism, low vision, blindness, CP, physical disabilities and so on
• The number of textbooks in DAISY format:130
• Subjects of school textbooks in DAISY multimedia
  Japanese, Mathematics, Sociology, Science, History
• As a result: Enhance reading and understanding power of school text books and recover his /her self-esteem
