[MHLW] "Record of Procurement of National Institutions from Employment Facilities for Persons with Disabilities" Published
On October 29th, 2020, the MHLW published the "Record of Procurement of National Institutions from Employment Facilities for Persons with Disabilities" for the 2020 fiscal year. This procurement record is based on the Act on Promotion of Government's Procurement of Goods Supplied by facilities for persons with disabilities to work (Act No. 50 of 2012), and it is a compilation of the records of goods, etc. actually procured by national institutions from employment facilities for persons with disabilities. * The numbers in the brackets are from the previous year ○ Total amount of procurement in FY 2019: 19.3 billion yen (17.8 billion yen) Breakdown : National institutions: 975 million yen （885 million yen） Independent administrative agencies, etc.: 1.56 billion yen（1.35 billion yen） Prefectures: 2.94 billion yen （2.47 billion yen） Municipalities: 13.56 billion yen （12.8 billion yen） Local Incorporated Administrative Agencies: 294 million yen （296 million yen） The total amount reached 19.3 billion yen (an increase of 8.5% (1.52 billion yen) from the previous year), the highest on record for the sixth consecutive year since the law came into effect (2013). Municipalities continue to account for about 70% of the total procurement performance, and the increase in procurement by prefectures and municipalities (increases of 18.7% and 5.9% from the previous year, respectively) boosted the overall performance. |
