The United Nations has designated December 3 as the “International Day of Persons with Disabilities”. In Japan, the Basic Law for Persons with Disabilities sets December 3 - 9 as the “Week of Persons with Disabilities (herein referred to as “the Week”), which the Cabinet Office commemorates with events every year.
In 2021, the following events were held during the Week.
