On March 15, 2022, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) announced the winners of the 15th Minister's Award for the Promotion of Barrier-Free Environments.
The MLIT Minister's Award for Promoting Barrier-Free Environments was established in 2007 to recognize individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions in the promotion of barrier-free environments in the administrative area of the MLIT and widely encourage outstanding barrier-free advocacy initiatives.
This year's award winners and bases for their selection are as follows:
(Development of boarding equipment for small aircraft that cannot use the boarding bridge)
(Realization of a "walkable town development" utilizing regional networks)
(Formulation of hospitality guidelines based on the COVID-19 countermeasures in collaboration with two leading airline companies and their deployment at major airports.) |
