[MOJ/MEXT] Publication of the 2022 White Paper on Human Rights Education and Awareness-Raising

On May 6, 2023, the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) published the Human Rights Education and Awareness-Raising Measures in FY2022 (White Paper on Human Rights Education and Awareness-Raising).

The White Paper is based on Article 8 of the Act to Promote Human Rights Education and Awareness-Raising, which reports every year to the Diet the human rights education and awareness-raising measures taken by all Ministries and Agencies as “Measures for Human Rights Education and Awareness-raising.” It is prepared by the MOJ and the MEXT, which have joint jurisdiction over the Act with the cooperation of the relevant ministries and agencies.

The contents of "4. Persons with disabilities" in "Chapter 2: Efforts to address human rights issues" are as follows:
