Access to information is a very import activity for persons with disabilities
to live independently and fully participate in the Society. However, we find it difficult
for those people, particularly people with print disabilities to obtain information in
accessible and understandable ways. In order to ensure that they will have access to
information, what sort of policies or supports are necessary for those people? From this
perspective DINF collects the related information about the development of DAISY and other
assistive technology and through IFLA consisting of many libraries and institutions in the
world, and provides it through our website considering information accessibility.
